About Dahi ke kabab Recipe

Dahi ke kabab are kababs crisp outside, soft melt in mouth inside. This is a delicacy from Punjabi cusine, perfect for party starter.

Ingredients to make Dahi ke kabab

  • Hung curd 1/2 cup
  • cottage cheese 1/4 cup
  • onion 1
  • ginger paste 1 tesp
  • Green chilies 2
  • Green coriander leaves 1 tbsp
  • salt 1/3 tesp
  • Black pepper powder 1/4 tesp
  • Bread crumbs 1/4 cup
  • cornflour 2 tbsp
  • oil for frying

How to make Dahi ke kabab

  1. Mash the cottage cheese.
  2. Finely chop onion and fry till golden.
  3. Mix together hung curd, cottage cheese, fried onions, ginger paste, Green chilies, green coriander leaves, salt, black pepper powder and bread crumbs.
  4. Pinch small portions of the mixture with greased hands, shape into kabab and roll in cornflour.
  5. Place kababs in hot oil.
  6. Fry till crisp and golden on both sides on medium heat.
  7. Remove on absorbent paper and serve with green chutney and onion slices.
