About Bhugla bateta Recipe

This is a chatpata snack for everyone made with potatoes and fryums.

Bhugla bateta

Ingredients to make Bhugla bateta

  • 1/2 kg baby potato
  • 50 gram pipe fryums
  • 1 tomato paste
  • 1onion paste
  • 3 tsp garlic paste
  • oil for frying
  • 2 tsp red chilly powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tsp asafoetida

How to make Bhugla bateta

  1. Heat some oil in a pan, add asafotida,cumin seed and let them smell.
  2. Now add garlic paste.
  3. Now add onion and tomato paste.
  4. Now add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt and saute for few minutes.
  5. Boil a potato and peel it, mash it.
  6. Then add this boiled potato into the cooking mixture in the pan.
  7. Mix well.
  8. Then fry the pipe fryums.
