Badam Basundi

Ingredients to make Badam Basundi

  • Milk 1/2 kg
  • sugar 1/3 cup or to taste
  • almonds paste 1/3 cup
  • Chopped pistachios 2 tbs
  • Chopped almonds 3 tbs
  • Crushed cardamom 1.5 tsp
  • Soaked saffron in water 7-8 strands

How to make Badam Basundi

  1. TAKE 1/2 KG FULL CREAM MILK IN A KADHAI,STIR
  2. ADD 1/3 CUP SUGAR WHEN MILK REDUCED HALF
  3. STIR OCCASIONALLY
  4. ADD 1/3 CUP BLANCHED ALMONDS PASTE & SIMMER FOR 5-7 MINUTES
  5. ADD 3 TBS ALMONDS SLIVERED,2 TBS CHOPPED PISTACHIOS & SOAKED SAFFRON IN WATER
  6. 1.5 TSP CRUSHED CARDAMOM,TAKE OFF THE HEAT & LET IT COOL
