ABOUT Oats spinach dhokla RECIPE

This is a healthy and easy snack, with the goodness of oats, spinach in the form of a dhokla.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Rava - 1 cup
  2. Oats - 1/2 cup
  3. Curd - 1/2 cup
  4. Spinach puree - 1/2 cup
  5. Lemon juice - 2 tbsp
  6. Salt - to taste
  7. Sugar - 1 tbsp
  8. Eno fruit salt - 1 tbsp
  9. Oil - 1 tbsp
  10. For tempering
  11. Rai/black mustard seeds - 1 tsp
  12. Curry leaves - 10
  13. Green chilly - 5 - 6
  14. Oil - 1 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Blanch the spinach and grind to make a paste.
  2. Dry toast the oats and make a powder
  3. Keep aside for 15 mins.
  4. Add eno fruit salt in the dhokla batter and pour the batter into the plate and steam for 10 mins
  5. Heat oil in a pan,add rai/black mustard seeds once it gets crackled and then add the curry leaves and green chilly.
  6. Pour it over the dhokla and cut in to cubes.
  7. Enjoy oats spinach dhokla with coconut chutney
