This receipe can be made within minutes if we are using left over poha upma made for breakfast..Its a tasty and light evening tea time snack.

Crispy Poha Pakoras

Ingredients to make Crispy Poha Pakoras

  • Poha/ leftover poha upma -1 cup
  • wheat bread -3 slices
  • cornflour-2 tablespoon
  • salt to taste
  • chilli powder-1 teaspoon
  • amchur powder -1 /2 teaspoon
  • coriander leaves handful
  • Asefotida-1/2 teaspoon
  • oil for frying

How to make Crispy Poha Pakoras

  1. Add all the ingredients except oil in a bowl and mix them well to form a dough
  2. If not using leftover poha upma wash a cup of poha with water and drain the water .keep it aside for 20 minutes .Then mix it up with all the ingredients.
  3. Make the dough into equal size balls.
  4. In a kadai pour oil and when hot drop in the balls and fry in medium flame until golden brown and crisp
  5. Serve hot with tea

My Tip:

You can add finely chopped oinons and grated carrots if you want .serve with tomato ketchup .
