About spiral puffs Recipe

a very crispy layered spiral puffs with chicken stuffings

Ingredients to make spiral puffs

  • all purpose flour 1 cup
  • refined oil 1 tablespoon
  • salt
  • shredded chicken 1 cup
  • onion 1 chopped
  • ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
  • turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • red chilli powder 1 tsp
  • zeera 1/2 tsp
  • garam masala 1/2 tsp
  • oil for frying

How to make spiral puffs

  1. make a dough using all purpose flour and 1 tbsp oil and water..rest it for half an hour
  2. heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan
  3. add zeera and sauté onions till golden brown
  4. add ginger garlic paste,turmeric powder,salt and red chilli powder
  5. add shredded chicken and cook it covered for 5 minutes
  6. add garam masala and coriander leaves and switch off the gas
  7. make 6 small balls out of the dough
  8. roll each ball in a rolling pin and make 6 chapatis
  9. take one chapati..brush oil all around and sprinkle maida all over
  10. place another chapati over it and likewise repeat the process
  11. when all the chapatis are placed over one by one just roll it
  12. cut it lengthwise into small pieces
  13. take each piece and roll into a puri
  14. add chicken stuffing and seal it like a gujiya
  15. deep fry all the puffs in medium to low flame till golden brown
  16. spiral puffs are ready..serve with schezwan chutney

My Tip:

U can use potato stuffing or vegetable stuffings also
