Simple Jam cookies, a perfect and beautiful crispy cookie filled jam inside.

Jam cookies

Ingredients to make Jam cookies

  • butter 50gms
  • Powdered sugar 70gms
  • Vanilla Essence 1tsp
  • water 1 tablespoon
  • all purpose flour (Maida) 100gms

How to make Jam cookies

  1. Take a bowl cream powdered sugar and butter well. Add vanilla essence to it.
  2. Now add water and mix it well. Then add maida little by little and form a dough.
  3. Take the dough and with the help of flour roll it into sheets.
  4. Take cookie cutter and cut even number of cookies into similar size.
  5. Leave half of the cookies just like that and to the rest of the cookies make a hole in the centre of each cookies using a small cutter. Bake both of them at 180c for 8 to 10mins.
  6. After that take the hallow one and put it on the flat once and fill the hole with your favorite jam.
  7. Put it in the oven for 2mins in the oven and remove it and cool them before serving.
  8. Delicious jam cookies are ready to be served.

My Tip:

Use homemade jams for additional taste and flavours.
