This is a quick snack for surprise guests at home, a delicious snack to be served with tea.

Ingredients to make Jatpat boondi cutlates

  • Bread slices - 6
  • Savoury store bough boondi - 60 gm
  • onion [chopped] - 1
  • tomato [chopped] - 1
  • green chillies [chopped] - 4
  • coriander leaves [handful]
  • salt [as required]
  • Chaat masala powder - 1/2 tsp
  • chilly sauce - 1 tsp
  • semolina - 2 tbsp
  • oil [for frying]

How to make Jatpat boondi cutlates

  1. Take all the ingredients in a mixing bowl except the bread , semolina and oil, mix them.
  2. Now cut the crust of the bread slices, dip them in water and squeeze out the excess water, place the mixture in each slice and seal the ends. Roll the bread roll in the semolina, shape them as cutlets.
  3. Now fry them in hot oil and serve them immediately with some sauce or chutney on the side.
