Papdi gathiya

Ingredients to make Papdi gathiya

  • 1/2 cup gram flour
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tsp oil
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 pinch turmeric powder
  • 1/4 tsp red chilly powder
  • 1/2 tsp ajwain
  • 1 pinch cooking soda
  • oil as required

How to make Papdi gathiya

  1. Sieve the gram flour.
  2. In a bowl ,mix the flour with water.
  3. Add oil and mix well.
  4. Mix with salt , soda, red chilly powder, ajwain, turmeric powder.
  5. Prepare a soft dough . Add 2 tsp oil if required.
  6. Spray the inside parts of the gathiya maker with gresae
  7. Heat oil and squeeze over the gathiya.
  8. Fry them over low heat.
