Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Ingredients for suji papdi
  2. Suji....1 cup
  3. Salt to taste
  4. Oil....1/2 tea spoon
  5. Ajwain 1/4 tea spoon
  6. Ingredients for dahi papdi chaat
  7. Dahi....500 grams
  8. Salt to taste
  9. Black pepper powder....1/4 tea spoon
  10. Roasted cumin seed powder ...1/2 tea spoon
  11. Sweet and sour chutney....as required


  1. Making of papdi Boil 2 cups of water, add oil, salt and ajwain and when the water comes to boiling point add suji and stir continuously to avoid any lumps
  2. Within minutes it will become like a dough.
  3. Take out this dough and transfer to a plate, let it cool down.
  4. Knead it with your palms till smooth
  5. Now take a spoonful of this dough, flatten it like a papdi and fry in hot oil
  6. Now whisk dahi, break papdi in two and put it in the serving glass, pour dahi, add salt and masalas and sweet and sour chutney
  7. Serve immediately
