Navratra Rose Petal Kheer

Ingredients to make Navratra Rose Petal Kheer

  • Samak - 1/2 cup
  • Milk - 500 ml
  • sugar - 1/4 cup
  • cardamom - 2
  • Fresh rose flowers
  • almonds - 5
  • raisins - 10

How to make Navratra Rose Petal Kheer

  1. Boil the samak rice adding the quantity of water.
  2. When its cooked. Keep it aside
  3. In a pan, add 500 ml milk and let it be boiled at low flame
  4. Add cardamom in it
  5. Add boiled samak rice in it.
  6. Let it boil for 10 minutes.
  7. Now add well Washed rose petals in it.
  8. Let it boil for 5 mins more
  9. Add sugar, chopped almonds and raisins in it.
  10. Cover with lid and let it be boil for 10 minutes more at low flame.
  11. Now off the flame.
  12. Let it be cool
  13. After it comes to room temperature, you can keep it in refrigerator for 1 hour.
  14. Garnish with rose petals and almonds
  15. Serve Chilled.
