About Cheesy Bread Pakoras.... Recipe

Easy peasy pakoras done very easily. These are a perfect snack idea for the evenings. A simple one made with gram flour and filling is that of cheese. Best served hot with chilli garlic sauce or any chutney of choice. Veggies or non veg can be added for a change if desired. They taste great with any filling as such.

Cheesy Bread Pakoras....

Ingredients to make Cheesy Bread Pakoras....

  • gram flour or besan 1 cup
  • Bread slices 6 (edges trimmed)
  • red chilli powder 1 tsp
  • turmeric 2 pinches
  • ginger garlic paste 1/2 tsp
  • baking soda 1 pinch
  • water 1/4th cup
  • salt 1/2 tsp
  • Mozzarella shredded cheese 1/2 cup
  • red chilli flakes 1 tbsp
  • coriander leaves chopped 1/4th cup

How to make Cheesy Bread Pakoras....

  1. Make a thick batter that is smooth and lumpfree using the first eight ingredients mentioned.
  2. Allow it to sit for atleast 15 minutes.
  3. Heat enough oil for frying on a low heat until you prepare the pakoras.
  4. Mix cheese, red chilli flakes and coriander leaves.
  5. Add a generous portion of this mix on the bread slice.
  6. Cover with another and press it with hands to secure it in place. Use water as required.
  7. Cut into triangles before sealing the edges firmly.
  8. Dip this into the batter and fry on medium high heat.
  9. Keep turning the pakoras every now and then for even cooking.
  10. Fry them on low to medium high heat only so that these are cooked well inside out.
  11. Drain on an absorbent towel.
  12. Serve hot with any chutney of choice.
