Ingredients to make Besan-Atta Halwa

  • Half cup gramflour or besan
  • Half cup wheat flour
  • Half cup ghee
  • Half cup milk
  • Half cup water
  • sugar as per taste or 3-4 tbsp

How to make Besan-Atta Halwa

  1. Heat ghee in a pan. Mix both the flours and add to the ghee (firstly it will absorb all the ghee). Cook on a medium flame for some time till fat or ghee appears on side. Keep stirring continuously.
  2. Add sugar. Mix well
  3. Add milk and water. Mix fast so that no lumps are formed. You can add 2-3 tbsp milk if you want the halwa to be more soft.
  4. It will leave sides and come together nicely. Cook for 2-3 minutes. Serve hot.
