Mix veg poha

Ingredients to make Mix veg poha

  • Poha 250 gm
  • peas 1/2 cup
  • oil 1 tbsp
  • carrots chopped small 1/2 cup
  • onion chopped 1/2 cup
  • 1 boiled potato
  • Desiccated coconut -2 tbsp
  • curry leaves- 6-7
  • 1 tsp channa dal
  • 1 tsp urad dal
  • 1 green chilli chopped
  • A pinch of turmeric powder
  • Powdered sugar 1/2 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • White vinegar- 2 tsp or juice of one lemon
  • Groundnut or moongfali- 2 tbsp
  • Handful of dhania leaves

How to make Mix veg poha

  1. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a kadhai, then add the dry dal and cook at a low flame till it turns golden.
  2. Then add the curry leaves, onion, green chilli, peas and carrots. Cook for 4 mins then add a pinch of haldi.
  3. Wash the poha in a strainer for few seconds and remove the water.
  4. Add the poha to the masala, then add salt, sugar, lemon juice and potato.
  5. Next add the ground nuts, desiccated coconut and toss it well.
  6. Now add the coriander on top and serve it hot with ketchup.
