Ingredients to make carrot delight

  • 2 cup grated carrot
  • 1 cup condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp green cardamom powder
  • 1 tbsp ghee
  • 1 Lr milk
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • some chopped pistachios

How to make carrot delight

  1. heat a Kadhai. add little ghee. sauté the grated carrot for few minutes. add milk and condensed milk. cook on low flame till the carrots are soft and mixture get thick. add cardamom powder.
  2. boil the milk. add lemon juice gradually and wait for cuddling of milk. put off the oven. add some cold water. cover and rest for 5-10 minutes. strain the liquid and hang the chana till it completely dry.
  3. kned the China till smooth. add sugar and knead till it mix well.
  4. grease a baking tray with ghee. put one layer of chana mix then one layer of carrot mix and cover with one more layer of chana mix . cover and bake for 15-20 minutes.
  5. let it cool completely. cut in square and garnish with chopped pistachios.

My Tip:

Wash the chana in running water to get rid of any sour taste.
