  • potatoes - 4
  • Grated cheese - 1/2 cup
  • Milk - 1/4 cup
  • cream - 1/4 cup
  • Crushed pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Chopped garlic - 2 teaspoon
  • shallots - 4
  • salt - to taste
  • butter - 1 tablespoon

How to make Cheesy Hasselback Potatoes on Iron Skillet

  1. Scrub the potatoes and remove all the hard bits from the skin.
  2. Place a potato flat side down and make slices are about 1/8 inch a part but not completely through it. keep them in water till the work begins.
  3. In a small mixing bowl, combine melted cream with milk crushed pepper and salt.
  4. Add sliced potatoes to them and keep them boil in a low flame for 5 minutes.
  5. Replace the potato mixture into a greased iron skillet.
  6. Add some chopped garlic onions and grated cheese on top of it.
  7. Bake in pre heated oven at 200 ° for about half an hour...

My Tip:

Adding bread crumbs will give crispy crust outside.
