Sitaphal Basundi

Ingredients to make Sitaphal Basundi

  • 3 Cups Milk
  • 1/2 cup condensed milk
  • 4 tbsp milk powder
  • Few saffron strands
  • 1/2 cup Sitaphal (custatd apple) pulp ( deseeded)
  • 2 tbsp mix dry fruits (pistachio, almonds, cashewnuts)
  • cardamom powder 1/2 tsp

How to make Sitaphal Basundi

  1. Soak the saffron strands in 1 tbsp luke warm water.
  2. Bring the milk to a boil, add condensed milk, milk powder, dry fruits, saffron water, stir constantly for 5-10 minutes. Turn off the flame and add cardamom powder.
  3. After 5 minutes add the sitaphal pulp and mix well.
  4. Garnish with dry fruits.

My Tip:

Don't add sitaphal pulp while boiling the milk.
