Chinchecha saar

Ingredients to make Chinchecha saar

  • tamarind 1 cup
  • water 2 cups
  • sugar 1/2 cup
  • green chillies 1/4 cup
  • salt a pinch
  • curry leaves 5-6
  • oil 1 tbsp
  • mustard seeds 1 spoon
  • hing 1 spoon
  • red chilly powder 1 spoon
  • turmeric powder 1 spoon
  • jaggery 1/2 cup

How to make Chinchecha saar

  1. First soak tamarind in water. Thendrain it take watery part in pan then add sugar and jaggery and let it cook.
  2. Heat oil in pan then add mustard seeds, curry leaves, hing, turmeric powder, green chillies, red chilly powder , salt, sugar/jaggery, water, tamarind chutney and let it boil for some time.
  3. Serve it with khichdi .

You can take imli pichkoo easily available in market if you want to make instantly.
