This north indian punjabi style mix veg. Recipe is a family favorite and My mom's recipe. It's taste delicious and serve with phulkas,parathas or pooris.

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. Mix veg. ( Carrot,beans, cauliflower, potatoes, lady fingers,peas, and brinjal) 2 cup chopped
  2. Cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
  3. Onion 2 (slices)
  4. Tomatoes puree 1/3 cup
  5. Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
  6. Salt to taste
  7. Tej pata 2
  8. Cloves 2-3
  9. Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
  10. Green chilli paste 1/3 tsp
  11. Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  12. Black pepper powder 1/3 tsp
  13. Garam masala powder 1/2 tsp
  14. Amchoor powder 1/4tsp
  15. Oil 2tsp+ frying
  16. Coriander powder 1tsp
  17. Coriander leaves 3 tsp chopped
  18. Cream 2 tsp


  1. First cut the mix vegetables.put the oil in the karahi and put the vegetables and cook it in the medium flame. Vegetables are soft and switch off the flame.
  2. In a kadai heat oil 2 tsp.add cumin seeds.let the splitter then add tej pata, cloves.
  3. Then add onion and saute till they turn light golden.
  4. Then add Ginger garlic paste cook for 2-3 minutes and add green chilli paste.
  5. Then add tomato puree and cream and salt, turmeric powder,red chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala, black pepper powder, amchoor powder.mix spice powders very well.
  6. Now add fry veggies.cook on low to medium flame around 2-3 minutes.
  7. Add coriander leaves. Mix well.
