Nargisi Koftas Gravy

Ingredients to make Nargisi Koftas Gravy

  • Minced meat - 300 grams
  • onion - 1/2
  • chilli powder - 1 teaspoon
  • egg - 4
  • Corn flour - 2 tablespoon
  • Bread crumbs - 1 cup
  • Chopped coriander - 1 tablespoon
  • oil - 2 cups for deep frying
  • oil - 1 tablespoon for sauting
  • tomato - 1
  • cinnamon - 1 inch piece
  • cloves - 1
  • cardamom - 2
  • ginger garlic paste - 1 teaspoon
  • turmeric powder - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Garam masala - 1/2 teaspoon
  • chilli powder - 1 teaspoon
  • coconut paste - 2 tablespoon
  • cream - 2 tablespoon
  • yogurt - 1/4 cup
  • salt - to taste

How to make Nargisi Koftas Gravy

  1. Combine minced meat with chopped onion coriander leaves chilli powder bread crumbs corn flour and salt. Break an egg in them and mix well.
  2. Hard boil the remaining three eggs.
  3. Coat the boiled eggs with minced meat mixture.
  4. Heat oil in a pan and deep fry them carefully.
  5. Heat oil in a pan add thinly sliced onion and fry till golden brown.
  6. Add cloves cinnamon cardamom and ginger garlic paste. Saute till the raw smell gone
  7. Add chopped tomatoes and saute them until they become tender
  8. Now add masalas. Once the masalas start to thick to pan add coconut paste cream and yogurt with 1 cup of water.
  9. Adjust the salt level and add koftas in curry. Let it simmer for another 2 minutes.
  10. If you like just keep the koftas ready and add in curry just when serving
  11. Finish with chopped coriander.

My Tip:

Deep fry the koftas carefully in a medium flame
