Ingredients to make Rajasthani special "Khichda& Moongodi"

  • 1 cup crushed whole wheat
  • 1 cup moong dal
  • 5 tbsp tamrind(imli) pureee
  • Powdered sugar 5 tbsp
  • Moongodi or badi 1 cup
  • oil 4 tbsp
  • Assfotieda 1 pinch
  • salt to taste
  • red chilli 1/2 tbsp& turmeric 1/4
  • Black salt 1 /2 tbsp

How to make Rajasthani special "Khichda& Moongodi"

  1. Mix whole wheat&moong dal.
  2. In boil water soak it for 10 minutes
  3. In imli puree add sugar&black salt .Adjust water as required
  4. For moongodi:- Heat a pan add cumin, assfotieda
  5. Add 1 cup water&spices
  6. Add moongodi and cook 5 min in low flame.
  7. In pressure cooker add mix wheat&dal .Cook till 4 whistle
  8. After 5 of moongodi add dry kasuri methi

My Tip:

Serve it hot.for better result you soak wheat&dal foe 20 minutes
