Prawns Biryani

Ingredients to make Prawns Biryani

  • Basmati rice 2 cup
  • salt as per your taste
  • oil 1 tbs
  • mint leaves 5-6 chopped
  • Prawns small 1 cup
  • lemon juice 2 tbs
  • salt to taste
  • red chilli powder 1 tbs
  • turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • Garam masala 1 tsp
  • coriander cumin powder 1 tbs
  • bay leaves 1
  • cinnamon 1 stick
  • star anise 1
  • cardamom 2-3
  • Black pepper 5-6
  • cumin seed 1 tsp
  • tomato purée 1 cup
  • onion 1 large cut into small pieces

How to make Prawns Biryani

  1. wash and clean all prawns
  2. Add salt and lemon juice
  3. all whole spices are grind coarsest and add into prawns and all dry masala are mix
  4. Mix properly and rest 10-15 minuets
  5. Take rice wash and add into hot water and salt make parboiled
  6. Remove extra water and set aside
  7. Take cooker add oil and whole masala
  8. Then add onion and sauté
  9. Add ginger garlic and chilli paste
  10. When onion are brown add red chilli powder
  11. Then add tomato purée mix and cooked
  12. Tomato are cooked then add marinated prawns and mix properly
  13. Now add some water
  14. and cooked in slow flame
  15. Then add coriander and mint leaves chopped
  16. and add parboiled rice
  17. Evenly layer the rice and sprinkle some water on top
  18. Now close lid and cooked in slow flame around 8-10 minuets
  19. Now serve

My Tip:

Make biryani in slow flame now whistle
