Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 bowl soaked kabuli/white chana
  2. Oil for deep frying
  3. Hing-2-3 pinch
  4. Red chilli powder-1.5 tbsp(adjust as per ur taste)
  5. Salt-as per taste
  6. Kala/Sendha namak- 1 tsp
  7. Citric acid-1/4th tsp
  8. Meetha soda-1/2 tsp


  1. Soaked white chana for almost 5 to 6 hours
  2. Put soaked chana in a cooker ,put 2tbsp salt with required amount of water
  3. Add 1/2tsp soda
  4. Close the lid & pressure cook for 3-4 whistles
  5. Let it completely cool
  6. Now strain the excess water & spread chana on a clean cloth or news paper for almost 30 min.s
  7. Heat oil for deep frying
  8. Add chana & cook untill crispy & golden
  9. In a chutney pot, add Hing,red chilli powder,salt,citric acid & sendha namak. Grind it till make a fine powder
  10. Remove chana from oil 1nc doneet it cool little bit
  11. Add masala & mix well
  12. It's ready to serve

Mam cn i avoid citric acid???
