About HYDERABADI MURGH MALAIWALA RECIPE Recipe

A sumptuous chicken recipe made oiless or ghee. Chicken marinated with ginger garlic paste and cooked in milk, malai (cream), green chillies, saffron and roasted rose garam masala.

HYDERABADI MURGH MALAIWALA RECIPE

Ingredients to make HYDERABADI MURGH MALAIWALA RECIPE

  • For the Gravy
  • Fresh cream 1 cup
  • green chillies(chopped) 3
  • onion 1
  • Milk 21/2 cup
  • cardamom 2
  • ginger chopped 1teaspoon
  • pepper powder 1teaspoon
  • Garam masala 1teaspoon
  • Kasoori methi 1teaspoon
  • coriander leaves chopped 2tablespoon
  • saffron a pinch
  • almond chopped 2teaspoon
  • salt to taste
  • For the Marinade
  • chicken 3/4 kg
  • ginger garlic paste 2teaspoon
  • pepper powder 1 teaspoon
  • Fresh ground garam masala powder 1 tablespoon
  • rose petals 6 grounded with garam masal

How to make HYDERABADI MURGH MALAIWALA RECIPE

  1. Marinate chicken with ginger garlic paste and pepper powder.Let it sit for 30 minutes.
  2. Heat a pan add cream, onion, green chillies and cook till the onions are soft.
  3. Add milk and the marinated chicken, mix well.
  4. Add crushed cardamom, chopped ginger, pepper powder, crushed kasoori methi, garam masala, pinch of saffron and salt to taste. Let it simmer.
  5. Cook for 10 minutes or till it's done.
  6. Garnish it with coriander leaves and chopped almond.
  7. Hyderabadi Murgh Malaiwala is ready to consume with Biriyani or with any rotis.

My Tip:

Use fresh cream and freshly ground garam masala powder for this recipe.
