  • Brinjal-3 sliced or cubed
  • Jack fruit seed-10 chopped
  • Small onion-10chopped
  • tomato-2chopped
  • chilli powder-1 spn
  • turmeric powder-1spn
  • Kulambu masala-3tblspn
  • coconut-2tblspn
  • cashew-3
  • oil
  • Fennel seed, mustard seed, fenugreek seed- each 1spn
  • tamarind paste-3tblspn
  • sugar-1spn
  • salt-for taste

How to make Brinjal and jackfruit seed puli kulambu

  1. TAKE ALL YOUR INGREDIENTS
  2. HEAT COOKER, ADD 2TBLSPN GINGELLY OIL HEAT IT, ADD MUSTARD SEED, FENNEL AND FENUGREEK SEEDS,
  3. ADD CURRY LEAVES, 10CHOPPED SMALL ONION AND 2CHOPPED TOMATOES, SAUTE IT
  4. ADD 1SPOON TURMERIC POWDER AND 1SPN CHILLI POWDER
  5. ADD 3CHOPPED BRINJAL AND 10JACKFRUIT SEEDS
  6. MIX IT WELL AND COOK IT FOR 3MINS
  7. ADD 1SPN SUGAR AND REQUIRED SALT
  8. ADD 4TBLSPN TAMARIND JUICE AND MIX WELL
  9. GRIND 2TBLSPN COCONUT, 3TBLSPN KULAMBU MASALA AND 3CASHEWNUTS AND MAKE INTO PASTE
  10. ADD COCONUT PASTE AND LITTLE WATER MIX WELL AND COOK IT FOR 2-3 WHISTLES
  11. FINALLY ADD CORIANDER LEAVES
  12. TRANSFER TO BOWL AND SERVE
