Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Milk- 1 cup
  2. Curd- 1 cup
  3. Milkmaid- 1 and 1/2 cup
  4. Cardamom powder- 1/2 tsp
  5. Mixed nuts and raisins- 2 tbsp
  6. Ghee- a little to grease the mould

  1. In a pressure cooker, put a stand and pour water upto the stand covers. If you don't have a stand, you can can use a small bowl for that.
  2. In a mixing bowl, add curd and milk, mix it properly without any particle of curd. Then add milkmaid to the mixture and mix well. Add cardamom powder and nuts to the mixture.
  3. Pour this mixture into the greased mould and keep it in the cooker. Cover the cooker and keep it in a high flame.
  4. After a whistle, lower the flame then cook it for 20 mins. (If the whistle comes in this time don't panic it won't affect.) Turn off the stove and let it cool down.
  5. Insert a needle, if it comes out clean it's done. If not cook for some more time. Let it cool down completely and then keep it in the fridge upto serving time.
  6. Serve it chilled.
