Ingredients to make Tutti frutti from watermelon Rinds

  • Chopped Watermelon Rinds
  • Essence
  • 2 cup sugar
  • Food color

How to make Tutti frutti from watermelon Rinds

  1. firstly, take a watermelon and peel the skin of it.
  2. cut the watermelon  into small cubes.
  3. boil the watermelon cubes in 5 cup water for 10 minutes.
  4. cook until the watermelon cubes turn into semi-transparent.
  5. drain off the water and keep aside.
  6. now in a large kadai take 2 cup sugar and 2 cup water. further, add semi cooked watermelon cubes and stir.
  7. boil for 5 to 7 minutes .turn off the flame.
  8. divide the cooked watermelon cubes into 4 parts along with sugar syrup.
  9. add 4 drops of red, yellow and green blue  food colour essence to each part and mix well.
  10. allow to soak for 2 hours or a day making sure watermelon absorbs all the colour.
  11. now drain off the sugar syrup and allow them to dry over kitchen towel and paper.
  12. once the tutti-frutti dries off completely it will not be sticky. mix the colours together.
  13. finally, tutti frutti is ready to consume immediately or refrigerate for later use
