Jackfruit vermicelli kesari

Ingredients to make Jackfruit vermicelli kesari

  • 1 cup vermicelli
  • ¼ cup ghee
  • 1 ½ cup sugar
  • 1 ½ cups boiling water
  • 1 ½ cups milk
  • 10 cashew nuts 
  • 10 kismiss
  • 5 pista - finely chopped
  • 5 almonds - finely chopped
  • 1 cup chopped jackfruit

How to make Jackfruit vermicelli kesari

  1. Take 2 tbsp ghee and fry the vermicelli till almost golden in colour
  2. Add the hot water and milk to the vermicelli
  3. Allow to cook for five minutes on medium flame and add half of the remaining ghee
  4. Add the sugar and stir well.
  5. Add the remaining ghee and the jackfruit pieces and cook till all the ingredients blend well
  6. In another pan heat 1 tbsp ghee and fry the cashew nuts, kismiss, pista and almonds
  7. Top the kesari with the roasted cashew nuts, kismiss, pista and almonds Kesari ready..
