ABOUT Fruit Gateau RECIPE

Vanilla sponge cake soak with orange juice, stuffing with seasonal fruits & decorate with whipped cream & fruit.

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. Condensed milk 200 gm
  2. Melted butter 50 gm
  3. Flour 120 gm
  4. Baking soda 1/2 tsp
  5. Baking powder 1 tsp
  6. Water 120 ml
  7. Icing sugar 3 table spoon
  8. Sugar 2 table spoon
  9. Orange juice 1/2 cup
  10. Whipped cream
  11. Orange 2 pieces
  12. kiwi 2 pieces
  13. Apple 2 pieces
  14. Black grapes [handful]

Instructions

  1. Take a bowl , mix butter , condense milk and icing sugar.
  2. Take flour , baking soda & baking powder and sieve together separately and add to the above mixture.
  3. Beat the batter till smooth.
  4. Grease the mould with butter and line with flour.
  5. Pour mixture in it.
  6. Preheat the oven & bake for 30 mins at 160 degree centigrade.
  7. Cool the cake properly.
  8. Make a sugar syrup with orange juice & sugar .
  9. Soak the juice over the slice cake equally with brush.
  10. Whip the cream and chill it.
  11. Take a slice if cake on cake board , spread whipped cream then spread some chopped mixed fruit .
  12. Next place the other cake & repeat same process 2 times.
  13. Spread again whipped cream covering the entire cake from top and sides.
  14. Fill the remaining cream in a piping bag & decorate as you wish.
  15. Lastly decorate with fruit & serve.
