ABOUT Grapes pickle RECIPE

When life gives you grapes, make pickle! This unique pickle gets ready in a jiffy, tastes better and better with time!

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. 2 cups black grapes
  2. 2 tbsp crushed ginger green chillies
  3. 1/4 cup white vinegar
  4. 2 tbsp readymade pickle masala
  5. 1 tbsp sesame oil
  6. Salt to taste
  7. Sugar(optional)


  1. Wash and dry grapes, cut into two pieces
  2. Heat oil add crushed ginger green chillies and saute on medium flame for 2-3 minutes. Add vinegar, once it starts boiling, switch off the flame. Let it cool down little bit.
  3. When it is just warm add pickle masala and salt. Mix it well. (Taste your pickle masala, if it already has salt)
  4. Add this masala in grapes, put it in a glass bottle. No need to keep it in sunlight.
  5. You can start eating it on same day but It will taste better after 2 days when grape absorb masalas and soften a little bit, If you like to make it more sweet, now you can add sugar after tasting. Enjoy this pickle for 7 days without refrigerating, then store in the fridge and enjoy for weeks.
  6. Goes well with all types of parathas, dal-rice,pulao, biryani or puri. My favorite is to eat it with curd-rice.
