About Drunken Noodles Recipe

This is a yummy rice noodle recipe from the Thai Cuisine . I made a vegetarian version of it though you could add boiled and sautéed chicken , pork , shrimps of your choice .

Drunken Noodles

Ingredients to make Drunken Noodles

  • rice noodles ( fresh store brought )
  • onion 1
  • ginger garlic grated 1tbsp
  • green chilly slit 1
  • tofu diced 1cup or even paneer
  • mushroom diced 1cup
  • red and yellow capsicum (sliced)
  • beans , carrot , broccoli 1cup
  • slit celery and little basil leaves (fresh or dry)
  • egg 4 (optional but gives great taste )
  • dark soy sauce 2tsp
  • fish sauce 1tsp
  • oyster sauce 1tsp
  • sirarcha sauce 1tsp
  • salt to taste
  • sugar 1/2tsp
  • peanut oil 1tbsp

How to make Drunken Noodles

  1. Keep a kadai and add oil then add the ginger garlic and green chilly .
  2. Then break open the eggs and fry them for a minuite on high flame .
  3. Next add in the onion , capsicum , carrot and beans .
  4. sauté on high flame for a minuite .
  5. Add in the noodles and all d sauces along with salt .
  6. Finally add in the tofu , brocolli , sliced celery , basil leaves and sugar and sauté for a min n sw off the flame .

My Tip:

The whole process shud b done on a high heat and repeated tossing over orelse the dish might end up soggy . Boil beef or chicken before and add it during the time when tofu is added here . Shrimps can be added directly .
