ABOUT Suji/rawa balls RECIPE

A healthy snack for kids, made with semolina.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Suji 1cup
  2. Sugar 1/2cup
  3. Grated coconut 1/4cup
  4. Ghee 1/4cup
  5. Raisin 15
  6. Chopped nuts 2table spoon
  7. Kewra water 1tea spoon

Instructions

  1. Heat ghee in a pan ,fry raisins and chopped nuts for one minute.
  2. Take out ,and keep aside.
  3. Dry roast suji on low flame for 10minutes or till aroma starts emmitong from suji.
  4. Add grated coco nut.
  5. Heat another pan,add sugar and 1/4cup water.
  6. Stir,boil till one string consistency.
  7. Cool
  8. Add suji_coconut mixture,dry fruits and kewra water.
  9. Mix well and make balls
  10. If mixture is so brittle to make balls ,add a dash of water.
  11. Serve,enjoy.
