ABOUT Fruits Rabri RECIPE

Rabri is one famous desserts from North . Rabri is a delicious dessert . To add more royalty and nutrition , mixed fruits and handful nuts are included in this recipe . I am drooling even while typing this :smiley:

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Full fat milk 2 litres
  2. Apple medium sized 2 skin removed , finely chopped
  3. Pomegranate pearls 1 cup
  4. Pears 1 medium skin removed , seedless , finely chopped
  5. Orange pieces 1/4 cup
  6. Walnuts chopped 1/4 cup
  7. Silver almonds sliced 1/ 4 cup
  8. Palm candies 3 - 4 tablespoons
  9. Saffron 2-3 strands .

Instructions

  1. In a wide , deep nonstick wok , add 2 litres milk .
  2. Bring the milk to boil .
  3. Once the milk starts boiling , simmer the flame .
  4. Allow the milk to reduce to 1/3 of its original quantity .
  5. In between , keep stirring the milk occasionally so that no milk substances stick to the bottom and sides of the wok .
  6. Stir in such a way the cream that is deposited in the sides are collected and put to the milk .
  7. Don’t stir the milk vigorously.
  8. Add saffron strands to the reduced thick milk .
  9. Add the sliced skin peeled almonds to the boiling milk .
  10. Add walnuts .
  11. Add palm candies and stir to dissolve completely in the milk .
  12. Finally , when the milk looks creamy , with colour changed to cream pale yellow .
  13. Rabri is ready .
  14. Switch off the flame .
  15. In a wide serving bowl , arrange all the fruits in layers .
  16. Allow the rabri to come down from hot to warm.
  17. Now pour this Rabri on the fruits and keep it aside for few minutes .
  18. Then refrigerate .
  19. Serve chill for the best lip smacking taste .
