About Wild Ripe Mango Jam Recipe

Sour, sweet and tasty jam good accompanied with chapathi, dosa and so on.

Wild Ripe Mango Jam

Ingredients to make Wild Ripe Mango Jam

  • Wild ripe mangoes 25
  • jaggery 1/4 kg
  • salt 1 tsp

How to make Wild Ripe Mango Jam

  1. Wash and peel wild ripe mangoes.
  2. Grind coarsely for about 8-10 rounds both peel and seeds to take away squash in traditional way.
  3. Separate waste peel and seeds.
  4. Take the squash, add in big bottomed pan.
  5. Bring it to boil without adding water.
  6. After 10 minutes add Jaggery and salt to taste.
  7. Saute occasionally and continue cook in medium flame until thickness.
  8. Turn off the flame, allow it to cool down in room temperature.
  9. Store in a jar.

My Tip:

Store either in refrigerator or outside for 3-6 months.
