Banana Paranthas

Ingredients to make Banana Paranthas

  • Whole wheat flour 200 grams
  • Ripe bananas 2 long mashed thoroughly
  • warm milk 1/4 cup
  • salt a pinch
  • Powdered jaggery 2 tablespoons
  • ghee 3 tablespoons
  • cardamom powder a big pinch

How to make Banana Paranthas

  1. In a bowl , take whole wheat flour.
  2. Add salt .
  3. Add the mashed bananas and knead using finger tips .
  4. Add cardamom powder .
  5. Add warm milk gradually and knead into a smooth dough .
  6. Finally grease the dough with ghee .
  7. Cover and rest for 5 minutes.
  8. Heat a tawa.
  9. Make equal sized balls ought of the dough .
  10. Roll them into thin soft paranthas .
  11. Fry the paranthas both the sides in medium heat .
  12. Cook till golden brown spots appear on the paranthas .
  13. Serve hot .
