this was the halwa I ever wanted to try and beleive me when it was done my kiddos finished it off and I made thrice the same halwa at a time,its so yum and can be made in very less time,I gave the combination of walnuts and chikoo and some dry fruits for garnish as I wanted to maintain the taste of walnuts and chikoo friends pls try this halwa its really yum and healthy

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. milk 2cups
  2. condensed milk 2tbsp
  3. walnuts half cup (50 gms)powdered
  4. three chikoo mashed or paste
  5. some almonds and pistachio slivers


  1. keep milk for boiling
  2. let it boil
  3. let the quantity reduce to half
  4. add condensed milk
  5. again boil for 2 minutes
  6. add powdered walnuts
  7. further boil for 2minutes
  8. now add chikoo paste
  9. keep on stirring pan will leave its sides
  10. switch off flame
  11. grease a bowl
  12. add hot halwa in it
  13. press for a minute with spatula
  14. flip bowl in serving plate
  15. garnish with almonds and pistachio slivers
  16. you can sprinkle some dry rose petals
  17. serve hot
