Meetha Mango Murabba

Ingredients to make Meetha Mango Murabba

  • 250 gms grated green mangoes
  • 300-350 gms sugar
  • 6-8 green cardamom
  • A few strands of kesar

How to make Meetha Mango Murabba

  1. In a pan take grated mangoes along with sugar.Kindly note that the addition of sugar depends on tartness of mangoes.
  2. Switch on the flame and stir the mixture well.
  3. Cook the mixture on a low flame.
  4. Keep on stirring so that the sugar doesn't crystallize.Cook to get 2 thread consistency don't overcook or else the murraba will get hard and sticky.
  5. Add cardamom and saffron and mix well.
  6. Cool the murabba and store in a clean sterilised glass jar or bottle.
