About Spicy prawn bharta Recipe

This is my moms special dish and my favourite dish too..it goes well with hot rice,roties or phulkas

Spicy prawn bharta

Ingredients to make Spicy prawn bharta

  • Medium sized prawn 250gms
  • onion -1chopped,2 paste
  • garlic paste 1.5tablespoon
  • ginger paste ½ tablespoon
  • Dried red chilli 1
  • green chillies 2 chopped
  • tomatos 2 big paste
  • cinnamon 1 stick
  • Green cardamom 2
  • cumin powder 1 teaspoon
  • Corriender powder 1 teaspoon
  • Musturd oil 2 tablespoon
  • salt to taste

How to make Spicy prawn bharta

  1. Clean the prawns thoroughly before cooking.
  2. Chopped the prawns very finely
  3. Heat a pan put musturd oil on it.Add whole cinnamon, cardamom, red chillies on it,let it crackle.
  4. Add chopped onion n fry until brown in colour
  5. Add onion paste,ginger,garlic paste and fry.
  6. Add tomato paste, cumin powder,corriender powder and chopped green chillies to it.Fry until the oil came out from the masalas
  7. Now add the chopped prawn and salt to taste and cook again upto 5 mins with the masalas.
  8. Add some water in small quantities if needed
  9. Cook it until the prawn n masalas cook completely and everythings gets clumpy and whatever water remains dries up quickly
  10. Remove from heat and serve hot

My Tip:

U may boil the prawns and chopped it.
