Ingredients to make Whole Pigeon Peas Soup

  • Whole pigeon peas 250grams
  • tomatoes 2
  • curry leaves
  • butter 1 Spoon
  • mustard Cumin seeds each half spoon
  • lemon juice 30ml
  • pepper and Salt

How to make Whole Pigeon Peas Soup

  1. Wash and Soak pigeon peas for 4 hours.
  2. Boil them with same water.
  3. Separate water and seeds.
  4. Put butter in pan add mustard and cumin seeds let them pop.
  5. Add chopped tomatoes, and curry leaves.
  6. Mix the seasoning with pigeon peas water.
  7. Season with pepper, salt and lemon juice.
  8. Serve Hot.

My Tip:

Boiled seeds can be used for different dishes salad or curry. For thickening soup also.
