About Channa masala Recipe

Chhole masala is famous in mostly north region in India.its all time favourite recipes made by my mom.several time i cooked but lack of 'maa k hath ka swad' .so today i am trying chhole msala with my mom recipe.

Channa masala

Ingredients to make Channa masala

  • Chhole ( soaked overnight) - 2cup
  • oil - 2 big spoon
  • onion. - finely chopped
  • tomatoes -puree one bowl
  • salt as per taste
  • tea beg -one
  • Corriander powder - 2 tbsp
  • red chilli - 1 tsp
  • Chana masala- 2 tbsp
  • Chaat masala - 1 tsp
  • Dry mango pw -1 tsp
  • Corriander for garnish
  • cumin seed-1 TSP
  • ginger garlic paste- 1 tbsp
  • Some ginger juliens

How to make Channa masala

  1. Take pressure cooker add soaked chana with sufficient water, add salt and tea beg.
  2. After 4. Or 5 whistle off the flame not overcooked chana.
  3. Taka another wolk add oil when oil hot add cumin seed when crackle add onion saute onion two minutes add ginger garlic paste .
  4. Then add all masalas properly cooked two minutes or till oil release then add tomatoes puree.
  5. Mix well all ingredients and cook well saute three four minutes.then add little water .when gravy thickn add chole.
  6. Cook on medium flame 15 minutes.off the gas .
  7. Garnish with ginger juliens n corriander leves..

My Tip:

If u don't have tea beg you can make a tea potli .taka little cloth put one tsp tea leaves and knot it .and add in chole
