About Bari pulao Recipe

This was a favourite dish of my mother.very easy to make but super delicious. My mother is no more but i want to dedicate this dish to my mother.

Bari pulao

Ingredients to make Bari pulao

  • 1 cup rice
  • 1/2 cup bari
  • 2 green chillies
  • 1 tsp chop ginger
  • 10 cashews
  • 15 kishmis
  • coriander leaves
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp jeera
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • Pinch of hing
  • 2 bay leaf
  • 2 dry red chilli
  • 2 cloves
  • salt as per taste
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp haldi
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 lemon juice
  • 1 tsp kasoori methi

How to make Bari pulao

  1. Wash and soak rice
  2. Chop ginger and chilli
  3. Heat oil in cooker
  4. Add jeera,mustard seeds and hing
  5. Add cloves and bayleafs
  6. Add rice and roast
  7. Now add bari,green chilli and ginger
  8. Add casews
  9. Take two cup of water(double of rice) and add in cooker
  10. Add all given spices and cover lid
  11. Give only one whistle and our yummy pulao is ready
  12. Let cooker cool
  13. Open it and add kishmish
  14. Add Lemon juice and masoori methi after rubbing in palm
  15. Garnish with coriander leaves
  16. Serve with papad
