ABOUT Vermicelli kheer RECIPE

My mummy made this special kheer for me when i want to eat something sweet.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 and 1/2 litre milk
  2. 100 gram vermicelli
  3. 4 spoon ghee
  4. 3 spoon chopped dry fruits
  5. 1 cup sugar
  6. 1/4 spoon cardamom powder
  7. 6-7 threads of saffron


  1. Heat a pan put 2 spoon ghee and roast the vermicelli till it turns golden brown in colour.
  2. In the same pan put left ghee and roast dry fruits light in colour.
  3. Heat a heavy bottom pan put milk and bring it to boil.
  4. Let it boil on midium flame for 15 minutes while stirring occasionally in between.
  5. After 15 min put roasted vermicelli and dry fruits with ghee and cook it for 10 minutes .
  6. Let it boil for another 5 min
  7. After 5 min turn off the flame and let it cool for sometime.
  8. Enjoy your vermicelli kheer.
