Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Moong daal 1/2 cup
  2. All purpose flour 2 cups
  3. Red chilli powder 1 tsp
  4. Cumin powder 1/2 tsp
  5. Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
  6. Saunth powder 1/4 tsp
  7. Fennel powder 1 tsp
  8. Amchoor powder 1 tsp
  9. Salt as desired
  10. Oil for deep frying

Instructions

  1. Take 2 cup all purpose flour
  2. Add salt and prepare dough add little oil for moin
  3. Cover the dough for few minutes
  4. Since and soak moong daal for 2 hours
  5. Drain water and grind it in a mixer
  6. Heat pan add little oil add all spices
  7. Keep the flame low and mix the spices very well
  8. Add coarsely ground moong daal add salt and asafoetida
  9. Saute with non stop stirring for few minutes.keep aside
  10. Knead dough .roll into balls.prepare pooris.
  11. Place moong daal stuffing in the pooris.
  12. Bring edges of dough together and join them in center
  13. Flatten top and roll kachodis
  14. Heat oil keep flame low
  15. When oil is hot enough add kachodis
  16. Fry till they become golden brown and crisp from outside
  17. Accompany them with curd, tamarind chutney,green chutney
