ABOUT Paneer Lababdar RECIPE

Paneer lababdar is a popular paneer gravy dish and can be found on the menu of many restaurants.This recipe is more Punjabi style than mughlai style with the use of onion, tomatoes,cashew and spices.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Red tomatoes 2-3
  2. Cashew 10-12
  3. Chopped onion 1-2
  4. Ginger 1/2inch
  5. Garlic 3-4
  6. Cardamom 1-2
  7. Cloves 2-3
  8. Green chilli 2
  9. Bay leaf 1
  10. Paneer 200g
  11. Grated paneer 1 spoon
  12. Coriander n cumin powder 1 tsp
  13. Degi mirch 1 tsp
  14. Honey 1/2 tsp
  15. Salt 1 Tbsp
  16. Low fat cream 1/2 cup
  17. Butter 1 tbsp
  18. Oil 1 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Take a pan add butter let it heat now shallow fry paneer cubes n keep aside.
  2. In same pan put ginger ,garlic, cloves , cardamon saute for few seconds now add tomatoes .
  3. Let it cook for 5-10min add salt n cool completely.
  4. N make smooth paste with the help of grinder.
  5. Now in same pan add oil let it heat now add bay leaf , cloves n crushed ginger garlic saute it.
  6. Now add chopped onion n saute for 2 min or until golden brown colour.
  7. Now add tomato paste ,masala n deggi mirch let it cook another 10 min.
  8. Now add honey, cream n water let it come 1 boil .
  9. Now add panner cubes n Garnish with grated panner.
