Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 kg of fresh tilapia cut into 4 pieces.
  2. 1/2 cup of mustard oil.
  3. 2 tablespoon of Olive oil.
  4. Nigella seeds 1 teaspoon.
  5. Slit green chilli 8 nos.
  6. Ginger and green chilli paste 1 teaspoon each.
  7. 1 teaspoon each garam Masala powder.
  8. Salt to taste and turmeric 2 teaspoon full.

Instructions

  1. Clean the fish pieces and marinate it with salt and turmeric.
  2. In a pan fry the fishes moderately in mustard oil and keep it aside.
  3. In the same oil put nigella seeds for tempering.
  4. Then add ginger and green chilli paste and fry it for 2 mins with little water.
  5. Add 1 teaspoon of turmeric in it and pour water.
  6. Put the fishes in it and cover it and put it in low flame for 8 mins.
  7. Remove the cover add the slit green and olive oil to it.
  8. Add 1 teaspoon of garam masala.
  9. For more colour little bit of turmeric can be added before water is poured in the wok.
