  1. For Morkuzhambu
  2. To Grind
  3. 1 tsp raw rice
  4. 1 tsp channa dal
  5. 1 tsp coriander seeds
  6. 1 tsp jeera
  7. 1/2 tsp methi
  8. 1/2 tsp mustard
  9. 1/2 cup coconut
  10. 2 cups thick curd
  11. 3 green chillies
  12. For Kuzhambu
  13. 10 - 12 ladies finger
  14. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  15. hing pinch
  16. salt
  17. For tempering
  18. 1 tbsp coconut oil
  19. mustard
  20. jeera
  21. methi
  22. Curry leaves
  23. Pinch of turmeric
  24. For potato masala
  25. 1 tbsp sesame oil
  26. mustard
  27. Urad dal
  28. potatoes 4 medium size
  29. 3 onion medium size
  30. Curry leaves
  31. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  32. 1 tsp sambar powder
  33. 1 tsp red chilli powder
  34. Required salt

Instructions

  1. ADD 1 TSP RICE, CHANNA DAL, CORIANDER SEEDS, JEERA, 1/2 TSP METHI AND MUSTARD
  2. RINSE AND SOAK FOR 20 MINUTES
  3. CHOP 10-12 LADIES FINGER OF EQUAL SIZE
  4. TAKE SOAKED MIXTURE, 1/2 CUP COCONUT, 2 CUPS SOAR CURD, 3 GREEN CHILLIES
  5. GRIND SOAKED MIXTURE, COCONUT AND GREEN CHILLIES FIRST
  6. ADD 2 CUPS OF SOAR CURD. BLEND AND SET ASIDE
  7. HEAT 1 TBSP OIL IN KADAI
  8. ADD CHOPPED LADIES FINGER
  9. FRY GENTLY
  10. ADD REQUIRED SALT
  11. ADD PINCH OF HING
  12. ADD 1/2 TSP TURMERIC POWDER
  13. MIX WELL
  14. THIS IS THE CORRECT CONSISTENCY
  15. ADD CURD MIXTURE
  16. MIX WELL. JUST HEAT THE MIXTURE. DON'T BOIL CURD.
  17. TURN OFF FLAME
  18. ADD TADKA. MIX WELL. MORKUZHAMBU READY!!
  19. TAKE 4 BOILED POTATOES
  20. CHOP THEM OF EQUAL SIZE
  21. TAKE 3 SLICED ONION
  22. HEAT OIL. ADD MUSTARD. ALLOW TO CRACK. ADD URAD DAL
  23. ADD SLICED ONION
  24. SAUTE TILL COLOR CHANGES TO LITE BROWN
  25. ADD CURRY LEAVES. SAUTE
  26. ADD 1/2 TSP TURMERIC, 1 TSP RED CHILLI AND SAMBAR POWDER
  27. ADD REQUIRED SALT
  28. MIX WELL
  29. ADD CHOPPED POTATOES. COAT MASALA WITH POTATOES
  30. POTATO MASALA READY
  31. SIMPLE BUT DELICIOUS LUNCH READY!!
