ABOUT Homemade Butter Chicken RECIPE

This is a v traditional way to make butter chicken where tomaotes and chciken are chargrilled on the gas stove.Believe me once you try this recipe you will never go back to any other recipe

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Chicken boneless 500 grms
  2. Tomatoes 5
  3. Cashew pwdr 4 tbsp
  4. Butter 2 tbsp
  5. Gg paste 2 tbsp

Instructions

  1. TAKE 500 GMS CHICKEN PIECES, ADD 2 TBSP GINGER-GARLIC PASTE
  2. ADD 1 TSP SALT, 1 TBSP EACH OF GARAM MASALA & RED CHILLI POWDERS
  3. ADD 1 CUP THICK CURD, MIX & LEAVE TO MARINATE FOR 2 HOURS
  4. CHAR 5 TOMATOES ON DIRECT FLAME
  5. DIP THEM IN WATER, PEEL OFF THE SKIN
  6. ADD 4 GARLIC CLOVES,10 RED KASHMIRI CHILLIES, THE READY TOMATOES, 1 TBSP OIL TO A MIXER JAR, BLEND
  7. GRIND INTO A SMOOTH PASTE LIKE THIS, SET ASIDE
  8. MELT 2 TBSP BUTTER, ADD THE MARINATED CHICKEN PIECES
  9. FRY TILL THE CHICKEN IS HALF-COOKED
  10. CHAR-GRILL EACH FRIED CHCIKEN PIECE ON DIRECT FLAME
  11. PLACE THE CHAR-GRILLED CHICKEN BACK INTO THE COOKING PAN, ADD THE GROUND TOMATO PASTE, SAUTE
  12. ONCE THE GRAVY STARTS BUBBLING, ADD SALT TO TADTE, ADD 5 TBSP CASHEW POWDER
  13. ADD 1 TBSP TAVA ROASTED KASURI METHI
  14. ADD 1 TSP HONEY
  15. COVER & SIMMER FOR 20-25 MINS ON LOW HEAT
  16. THE BUTTER CHICKEN IS DONE NOW, TAKE OFF HEAT, SERVE HOT WITH ROTI / RICE
