  1. Boiled rice 1 cup
  2. Raw rice 1 cup
  3. Urad dal 1 cup
  4. Fenugreek seeds 1 teaspoon
  5. Pepper 1 tablespoon
  6. Jeera 1 teaspoon
  7. Ginger grated 1 teaspoon
  8. Curry leaves
  9. Salt

Instructions

  1. ADD 1 CUP BOILED RICE,1 CUP RAW RICE
  2. 1 CUP URAD DAL AND 1 TEASPOON FENUGREEK SEEDS
  3. WASH WELL AND SOAK IT FOR 4 HOURS
  4. GRIND IT IN IDLY BATTER CONSISTENCY AND ADD SALT AND LEAVE IT FOR 6 HOURS
  5. CRUSH 1 TABLESPOON PEPPER
  6. IN A PAN HEAT 2TBSP GHEE AND 2 TBSP OIL. FRY PEPPER JEERA CURRY LEAVES AND 1 TSP GINGER GRATED
  7. ADD HING
  8. ADD THE SEASONING TO THE BATTER AND MIX WELL
  9. POUR THE BATTER IN GREASED BOWL
  10. STEAM COOK IT FOR 15 MINUTES OR UNTIL IT BECOMES NON STICKY
