ABOUT Egg curry RECIPE

This recipe of egg curry is a traditional one which I have been eating since my childhood. It does not require much time to prepare and goes well with chapatis.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Boiled eggs - 12
  2. onions garlic paste - 1 cup
  3. cumin seeds - 1/ 2 tspn
  4. Red chillies - 2
  5. Bay leaf - 1
  6. haldi - 2tspn
  7. Red chilli powder - 1 tspn
  8. pepper powder - 1/ 2 tspn
  9. Garam masala - 1/2 tspn
  10. salt
  11. oil for frying
  12. water

Instructions

  1. HEAT OIL, ADD BOILED EGGS AND SHALLOW FRY
  2. WHEN THE EGGS CHANGE COLOR, ITS DONE
  3. TAKE THEM OUT. HEAT OIL, ADD CUMIN SEDDS, RED CHILLIES, BAY LEAF
  4. WHEN THEY CRACKLE, ADD HALDI
  5. RED CHILLI POWDER, PEPPER POWDER
  6. ADD GRINDED ONIONS AND GARLIC
  7. MIX THEM PROPERLY
  8. ADD GARAM MASALA
  9. ADD SALT AND KEEP STIRRING
  10. THE MASALA WILL START LEAVING OIL
  11. THE MASALA WILL TURN BROWN
  12. ADD WATER AND MIX WELL
  13. SLOWLY ADD THE FRIED EGGS
  14. ALLOW THEM TO ONE BOIL AND SWITCH OFF
