I make these quiet often as its one of the favourites with my boys.Usually i bake these, but today have fried them

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Regular aata dough
  2. Cheese 4 cubes I used Amul
  3. coriander seeds 1 tbsp
  4. Fennel seeds 1 tbsp
  5. Green chillies 2 chopped
  6. onions 4 finely chopped,use chopper

Instructions

  1. TAKE 1 TBSP EACH OF FENNEL & CORIANDER SEEDS
  2. ROAST UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN, COARSELY POUND THEM & SET ASIDE
  3. HEAT 2 TBSP OIL, ADD 1-2 FINELY CHOPPED GREEN CHILLIES
  4. ADD THE POUNDED SPICES
  5. ADD 4 FINELY CHOPPED ONIONS, SAUTE UNTIL TRANSLUCENT
  6. ADD 2 TSP RED CHILLI & 1 TSP TURMERIC POWDERS, MIX & TAKE OFF HEAT
  7. TAKE 4 GRATED CHEESE CUBES, ADD THE FRIED ONION MIX
  8. ADD 2 TBSP FINELY CHOPPED FRESH CORIANDER, MIX WELL
  9. THE CHEESE FILLING IS READY
  10. MAKE SMALL BALLS OUT OF PRE-KNEADED WHOLE WHEAT DOUGH
  11. ROLL OUT INTO LARGE POORIS, PLACE 2 TBSP READY FILLING IN THE CENTRE
  12. FOLD & SEAL THE KACHORIS
  13. TAP DOWN GENTLY TO FIRMLY CLOSE THE LOOSE ENDS
  14. DEEP FRY IN HOT OIL ON MEDIUM HEAT
  15. FRY UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN & CRISP FROM BOTH SIDES, SERVE HOT WITH KETCHUP OR CHUTNEY
